Tra i miglior film stranieri, candidato anche ‘Io capitano’ di Matteo Garrone.
L’annuale cerimonia di premiazione degli Oscar si terrà il 10 marzo 2024. Ma nella serata di giovedì 21 dicembre 2023, l’Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences ha annunciato le liste di candidati in 10 categorie. Da segnalare che candidato tra i miglior film stranieri, c’è anche Io capitano di Matteo Garrone. Il film ha trionfato al Festival del Cinema di Venezia come miglior film, ottenendo anche il Leone D’Argento per la miglior regia. Di seguito le shortlist annunciate:
