Tutto pronto per la Notte degli Oscar 2024

La cerimonia sarà trasmessa in diretta TV anche in Italia.

Tutto pronto per la grande cerimonia degli Oscar 2024 che si terrà questa sera 10 marzo al Dolby Theatre dell’Ovation Hollywood di Los Angeles. Jimmy Kimmel ritorna come presentatore per la quarta volta, affiancato sul palco da un elenco di presentatori stellari. Il celebre comico e attore in precedenza aveva affermato di essere tornato a presentare lo spettacolo perché aveva la sensazione che finalmente la statuetta vada ad un un film di grande successo al botteghino.

“Sono seduto in un cinema e guardo Barbie e penso: ‘Beh, forse lo farò di nuovo, perché almeno ho qualcosa in comune con il pubblico. È stato un grande sollievo per noi, come scrittori di barzellette, avere in nomination film che il pubblico ha visto, come Barbie e Oppenheimer”.

Gli Oscar di quest’anno non sono privi di polemiche, in particolare legate all’esclusione dalle nomination di Margot Robbie e Greta Gerwig, rispettivamente nelle categorie di migliore attrice e miglior regista. Inoltre, gli Oscar del 2024 sono i primi in cui i film devono soddisfare due dei quattro standard di rappresentazione e inclusione per poter beneficiare del primo premio come miglior film.

Da quest’anno in Italia la cerimonia sarà trasmessa in diretta da Rai1 a partire dalle 23.30. In realtà la premiazione vera e propria prenderà il via solo verso l’1 di notte (le 16 a Los Angeles, appunto) e andrà avanti almeno fino alle 4.30 del mattino.
